A dynamic founding Board member of Four Winds Festival, Sheena harnesses passion as an educator and  experience in the corporate sector to communicate a vision of how the arts and in particular music can transform lives.

The daughter of professional musicians, she is committed to creating ways in which people feel invited to express themselves through varied musical forms as both performers and spectators.

Her professional experience in strategic facilitation and her work with global civil society groups and major companies including Nestle, ANZ, BHPBilliton, Oxfam, WWF and Rio Tinto demonstrate her ability to bridge different worlds and use dialogue to encourage ways of achieving success. At Four Winds, this translates into engaging the community in an ongoing conversation about the way in which music enriches life and creates new industries.

Sheena spearheaded the festival team’s success in raising $3.5 million to  create Nature’s Concert Hall, a new cultural hub at the Four Winds Festival site  which will provide a multi purpose facility with creative space for residencies and performances. This project includes state of the art technology and will encourage artists and audiences  regionally and globally to participate in music and art making.

Always thinking ahead to a fresh challenge, Sheena’s ambitions for Four Winds combine a global perspective with local concerns of accessibility and sustainability. Her uncompromising commitment to artistic quality underscores this energetically held conviction: that a small festival can have big dreams and make them come true.
